Westbridge / Conversation preparation note
Identify the conversation
If you are asking about an existing matter, include your reference if available and the name of the person you have been speaking to. Explain which part of the matter you want to understand.
A focused question gives the team a clear starting point. You might want to discuss a document, an expected update or what information is needed from you.
Questions to bring
- Which matter or document does your question relate to?
- What would you like clarified?
- How would you prefer the team to respond?
Keep correspondence organised
Keep related messages and documents together so you can refer to the relevant information during a conversation. Ask the team how updates will be provided and which contact to use for different questions.
Avoid including sensitive records in an initial website message. If further information is needed, agree an appropriate way to share it.
