Westbridge / Conversation preparation note
Begin with the people involved
A personal planning conversation can cover several connected questions. Before a meeting, note the people you want to consider, your priorities and the changes that have prompted you to get in touch.
You do not need a finished plan. A short outline of what matters to you gives the conversation a useful starting point.
Questions to bring
- Who would you like your plans to take into account?
- Have your family, home or business circumstances changed?
- What would you most like to understand by the end of a meeting?
Make a list of existing documents
Note any wills, trusts, powers of attorney or other arrangements you already have. Ask the team which documents they would like to see and how to share them securely.
An initial website enquiry only needs a brief outline. Keep detailed personal and financial information for the appropriate conversation with the team.
